Questions
The things people ask first
Still not sure?
Tell us what the property needs and we will give you a straight answer — free, with no obligation to book anything.
How much does it cost to mow my yard?
It depends on lot size, how much trimming and edging there is, and how often you want it cut — a quarter-acre in town is a different job from three acres with fence line. We give a firm price after seeing the property, and there is no charge for the estimate. Call or text 850-209-8982 and we will come look.
Do you charge for an estimate?
No. Estimates are free, including for landscaping, tree work, and junk removal. We would rather walk the property and quote it accurately than guess over the phone and change the number later.
How far do you travel?
Calhoun County is our home ground and we are there weekly. We run scheduled routes into the surrounding Jackson, Liberty, and Gadsden counties, and we will travel up to about two hours for larger jobs — cleanups, hauls, and tree work. If you are not sure whether you are in range, call and ask; we will tell you straight.
Do you do one-time jobs, or only regular service?
Both. Plenty of what we do is one-time — a cleanup, a haul-off, a pressure wash before a house goes on the market. There is no contract requirement and no obligation to sign up for a schedule.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry liability insurance, and we are happy to provide proof of coverage before any work starts — particularly for tree removal and commercial property.
How often should my lawn be mowed?
In this part of Florida, weekly from about April through September and every two weeks in the cooler months. Growth here outruns a bi-weekly schedule in summer, especially the week after a storm. We will tell you which schedule your grass actually needs rather than defaulting you to the bigger plan.
Do you haul away what you cut?
Yes. Clippings, limbs, leaves, and debris all leave with us — nothing gets piled at the curb for you to deal with. Hauling is its own service too, so if you have junk unrelated to the yard, we can take that in the same trip.
What kind of junk will you take?
Appliances, furniture, mattresses, storm debris, construction and remodel waste, and whole garage, shed, or rental cleanouts. We do the loading, wherever it sits. Anything that can reasonably be donated or scrapped, we route it that way instead of to a landfill.
How soon can you get out here?
For most of Calhoun County, usually within a few days — often sooner. The surrounding counties run on set days, so timing depends on the rotation. Storm cleanup gets prioritized. Call or text and we will give you a real date, not a maybe.
